My Makeup Inspirations..

During my Makeup training, I loved seeing the diversity between peoples ideas of a certain look.

I lean more towards a natural, fresh face for my personal look –  and this comes across in how I apply makeup to others.

I find myself inspired by lots of different looks –  I adore the elegance and grace of Audrey Hepburn, and the sexy bombshell look of Marilyn Monroe. I also love more avant garde and creative looks.

I thought I would share some of my favourite “natural beauty” looks with you, .

Audrey Hepburn – Classic Hollywood. I love the mix of feminine makeup, Bold Brows and Flicked Liner, and the masculine shirt, with the collar up.

Marilyn Monroe – Known as the “Blonde Bombshell” she is remembered for her blonde hair and red lip, but she looks equally as stunning with minimal makeup.

Grace Kelly – Another Hollywood Icon. This photograph is the perfect natural makeup – “no makeup – makeup”.

Kate Winslet – She has come a long way since her “Titanic” debut and she has aged beautifully. She definitely has a makeup style. She likes a flawless natural look, but isn’t afraid to wear a bold lip to red carpet events.

Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) – Since her relationship with Prince William began she has been in the public eye. She wasn’t afraid to be seen without makeup, but since saying “Yes” Kate is always immaculately groomed. She has a timeless, elegant style which suits her very well.

Duchess of Sussex (Meghan Markle) – Actress turned Royal (Like Grace Kelly) seemed to already have a classic style. Her makeup and clothing is elegant, but she isn’t afraid to wear a “messy pony” when the occasion calls.

From the people I have chosen you can definitely tell I am a fresh skin and neutral eye kind of girl. I am all about enhancing features, not changing people so they don’t recognise themselves in the mirror.
